I would google around and do research but I spent a week doing that before for the same issue and got nowhere. It's just a subset of a newer version, and it seems that QB can't figure that out. The color scheme has been updated to a gray-scale color scheme, fonts have been increased, rows have been heightened, and a green highlighting effect has been added to make. However, technically speaking, Vista and above already have it. QuickBooks 2013 has a new look and feel on the home page, the icon bar, and on the forms themselves. To me, it seems like this issue exists because obviously the program needs. All the googling in the world did nothing to help me. ![]() For the record it took me a week to figure it out on Vista. I was hoping someone here may have some idea on how to approach this. I know that there are known compatibility issues with this version of QB and 8, but the symptoms are absolutely identical to what I had experienced with Vista, and I managed to fix it. ![]() Welp, here I am with the same issue again. I thought "hah, when am I going to encounter this issue again?" Eventually I got it figured out, but I also broke the first rule of IT and didn't document a single piece of what I did to get it installed and functional. ![]() I work in IT and back in November I was trying to install QB Pro 2007 on Windows Vista and it kept failing out during the install for. This is likely the wrong place but I figured I'd ask here.
